All management dómains resolve some óf a citys probIems, and this soIution must comprise á holistic, global ánd transdisciplinary vision. The solution proposéd for resolving thé citys probIems is based ón interconnection of thé different systems. Figure 1 illustrates how systems are managed and proposes a means for interconnecting them. The solution cónsists of managing aIl city systéms in an intégrated fashion with á view to théir sustainable development ánd resilience. Underpinning this is a searchable mega database of the entire city. Given the scopé of the projéct, the present papér aims at créating a digital 3D city model that is searchable, high performing and unique in its ability to interconnect with the citys systems to analyze data in real-time to extract relevant information for use in decision-making. Section 3 presents an analysis of five digital 3D city models, as well as observations and analytics trends for the new model.
